#004 Textured Wool Scarf - Lac (Burgundy)

This wool scarf is hand-dyed using natural dye extract from the Lac insect (Kerria lacca).

Slight variations in the colour of the scarf are an inherent part of the natural dye process. There are a number of variables involved in dyeing and when dyeing with lac, the fabric seems to condense more, making the scarf a little shorter than most. 

If you care for your scarf, it will remain your good (and warm) friend for years to come. Hand wash separately in mild liquid soap that does not contain harsh detergents - we recommend Eucalan. Roll in a towel to remove excess water and hang to dry.
